Depart and return Belfast. See up to 12 Central Penobscot Bay lighthouses in a single day. Many of them are located on offshore islands inaccessible except by boat. Most are still lighted as navigation aids, though not with a keeper. Penobscot Bay has the greatest concentration of lighthouses down east.
